"Gloria Luckett Miller Vertz passed away on April 13, 2018 in Arcadia, California. She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan to Ann and J. Ira Luckett on November 11, 1925. As a young woman Gloria moved to California where she met and married William Warner (Bud) Miller. They were blessed with three children, Gary (Janis), William Kerry (Cathleen McGreal), and Gloria (Mike Rommel). Grandma G. had an adventurous spirit and a love of travel as do her four grandchildren, Erin McGreal-Miller (Eric Carlson), Kaiti McGreal-Miller, Ryan McGreal-Miller (Cait McMillan), and Shannon McGreal-Miller. Gloria also is survived by her great-grandsons, William and Joseph Carlson, born two days before her death. Her brother, Ross Harper, and many loving nieces and nephews also cherish memories of her. Gloria was predeceased by Bud Miller, by her second husband, Dale Vertz, and by her brother Ralph Luckett and his wife, Mary. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service and interment of ashes will be on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Oakdale Mortuary, 1401 S. Grand Avenue, Glendora, CA, 91740."
