Padre gracias por esta poderosa promesa de resurrección. Hoy nos afligimos por la muerte de nuestro amado sobrino y primo John pero sabemos que John sigue vivo en la eternidad y más aún creemos que está junto a su madre que tanto amaba y recordaba con tristeza  y hoy libre de todo eso que lo esclavizaba aquí en la tierra, ya no cuenta más.
Te amamos, te recordamos como ese chico travieso, bromista, cansón pero de un gran corazón.

With deep sorrow, I say goodbye to my cousin, an exemplary person who always stood out for his kindness and his desire to help others. He was an admirable father, teaching values and leaving his children a legacy that will endure forever.

I am deeply grateful for the time he welcomed me into his home, sharing not only his space but also his wise advice, which helped me in many moments. His perseverance and fighting spirit were always an inspiration to those around him.

Today, I pray that God has received him in His holy presence and granted him eternal rest. To my cousins, I wish you strength during this difficult time and hope you find comfort in the beautiful memories you shared with him. May God bless you and fill you with peace.

The phone call I received was one of the hardest I’ve ever had to hear.  I am shocked and  deeply saddened by  your sudden passing. We shared so many wonderful years together, and those memories will always hold a special place in my heart. While our paths eventually went in different directions, the love and happiness we experienced will remain with me always. Our lives were intertwined for 41 years and it is not easy to let that go.  Our friendship was one I cherished and your absence will leave a void in my heart.  Rest easy my friend.  Please keep the party going up in heaven with John.  Until we meet again 🥂💙. 

My thoughts and prayers are with your family, our children and your loved ones during this difficult time.  May God give us the strength to get through this, knowing that we were all lucky to have had you in our lives, even if only for a short time. 🙏🏼

i took this at the pool when we were staying in Capri in 2017.  there was a little window and he said “watch this”. i like it because it reminds me of all the time we spent in our pool at the house in Oceanside. we loved swimming, diving, sinking to the bottom, playing all fishes under together. i remember i would get upset because i couldn’t hold my breath as long as him, i thought maybe one day when i’m older. my love for water comes from you dad, and i thank you for that 🤍 it will always remind me of you
