While in Hollywood Terry became a serious follower of Jesus Christ, even becoming a minister in her own right. In addition to her ministry Terry was a teacher for many years. She was a Special Education Teacher in English for East Valley High School since 2013. She was a fierce advocate for her students and was very dedicated to the school’s mission as well as being respected by her peers and colleagues. One of Terry’s many talents was as a fiction writer and, at the time of her passing, was working on a collection of children’s stories that chronicled her childhood.
Terry was a high-spirited and gentle person who touched the lives of many people. She prayed for others always. She is gone too soon and will be greatly missed.
