Yun Soon Lee

Yun Soon Lee is survived by her two sisters and a brother in South Korea and her two children Stephen Garday and Naomi Buerkle. Their spouses Colleen Garday and Chris Frantz. Her grandchildren Alesha Garday, Theresa Owen, Adam Garday, Alex Garday, Austin Garday and their spouses Troy Owen, Jordan Garday and Katie Garday. Her great grandchildren Cannon, Brecken, Berklee, Laken, Rhett and Riggins Garday.

Yun Soon Lee was born on September 17, 1935 in Masan, South Korea to Young Joo Lee and Duk Soon Park. In 1958 she married Stephen James Garday Jr. a soldier in the US Army and they relocated to the United States. As a military wife, she lived in Georgia, Texas, California and in France on an overseas assignment from 1960 – 1963.

Yun Soon Lee retired from General Tire after 30 years of service. She enjoyed cooking Korean food for her family and had a talent for knitting and sewing. Yun Soon Lee was a Christian and member of A/C Cannon Church.

Visitation will be held at 10:00am and a funeral service at 11:00am on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary located at 7924 N 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
