My very old, good friend, sometimes roomate at Kansas, will be sorely missed. RIP my friend.

Vic had many loves - his music,  architectural design, family,  his faith and most of all, his love for Nancy.  He was able to incorporate all of these loves into his daily life. George and I admired Nancy and Vic's devotion to each other.  They were "soul mates" He will be missed by everyone he touched.  Our deepest sympathy to you Nancy, Andrew and family. He will be with you always.

So many memories came flooding back when I learned of Vick’s passing.  He had a personality as big as his smile. He was kind and so much fun.  Friday night dinner & music for years. All the trips to the Prescott cabin, playing golf,  the RV trip to see the comet!  Your wedding on “our” mountain and passing on our home to you to make your own great memories and making it bigger and better.  Am glad I got to see you both again 5?  years ago.
May all your wonderful memories of him soften the pain of your loss.  I am so sorry. Sending virtual hugs-please stay in touch. God bless you both.

Dear Nancy & Andy, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time of Vick's passing.  The Kelly family have many fond memories of our times together.  We'll always remember the parties (especially St. Patrick's Day and green m&m's), football games, music and family celebrations we shared together.  Vick had a giving heart and big smile that has touched many lives, and we will miss him dearly. 

I was so sorry to hear of Vic's passing.  Although we lost touch over the 50 + years since our time at KU, I still fondly remember Vic's great sense of humor.  We spent a few years as roommates and shared some of the fun and wild and crazy times (and hard work) at the Architecture building and at KU.

Dear Nancy and Andrew, our prayers are with during this time of loss. We have so many wonderful memories with you and Vic. All the parties, music, trips we shared add depth to our lives. Vic’s enthusiasm for living life carried us all just a little farther and a little better. He was a big part of our life during that time. He is truly missed. May God’s grace and strength cover you and your family. 

One of my fondest memories is when we played golf at the course where his dad worked in saint louis. Wonderful time with him and his parents and on the golf course.  Another is all the times we would all get together and have our own little music fest, lots of fun and great memories. 

Vic, heaven's angels will have a new member of the Rock 'n Roll band. I so enjoyed your music ministry at church and could see how much time and effort you put into it. I have a lovely CD of Christmas favs that Nancy sent one year. I always think of you when I listen to it. Much love to Nancy and Andrew and the whole family.

There are so many wonderful memories of  Vick during all our Village gatherings that we have to look back on. In addition, we are so thankful that he got to share special events in our children's lives with us .

Vic was a wonderful man and I am very sorry for your loss. My memory of Vic was at my wedding when he asked if the color red was a Jewish thing and I told him "No it's a me thing" Then later when you had a party at your house and seeing the red kippah (head coverings for the men) sitting on the statue of the monkey. It still makes me laugh today. 

Stunned and deeply saddened to hear about Vick...man accomplished much in his life...architect who helped build St. Joan of Arc cathedral...husband to Nancy, father to Andy...and shined as a musician/guitarist/bassist...played most of it, folk, jazz, especially rock...wrote and recorded his own originals...performed on stage/live from high school on...he loved it all. His passion for the music took him to the church he help build, where he and I got to spend many a year...couple of old guitar players doing the best we could...he loved it so...left a big hole where he used to stand...don't think that'll ever be filled...God Bless, Vick...you are missed, big man...

Since there aren't enough words or space to share all my thoughts and feelings, I will keep it brief. Vick and I played a lot of music together over the years, for weddings, parties, festivals and friends, of which there were so many. My friend loved his wife Nancy, his son Andrew, and his music. He loved dogs too.  He was a good, kind, hard-working man with a quick wit and a gentle sense of humor. His two sisters and their families have lost the center of their common family ties, but they knew him well because he shared his heart with them throughout his life.  Farewell, my friend.

Nancy, we are so sorry to hear of Vick’s passing.  When God calls our loved ones home, he leaves a beautiful gift...the gift of memories. Hold onto the  wonderful memories you and Vick created.
