Tony V. Tovar

He was born on March 12, 1938 in Shafter, Texas to the late Ascension and Celsa Tovar.

Tony served in the United States Navy.

He was a manager at American Express for 27 years. Tony enjoyed working out, watching sports, watching western movies and his favorite show Gun Smoke.

He is survived by his wife, Eva, son Patrick (Inez) Tovar, two stepsons Rodney (Connie) Villaponds & Albert Higuera, a brother Joe (Lala) Tovar, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A service celebrating Tony's life will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Burial with military honors will take place at 12:30PM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
