Ted and I were roommates in a fraternity house at the U of C while he was in Law school.  He seemed destined or a good life higher than my standards and planned to move to Arizona, both goals accomplished.  I had no future plans other than surviving the physics curriculum and loved hearing him talk of his future climb.  So different from myself.  Lucky to have been his roommate.


Ted gave me a new outlook on life. He took a chance on a young man who was friends with his son. Gave me a job, and offered me to move with him to Cambria Ca, when I was turning 21. He helped me carve a path into making decisions to have a positive future and to make the most of what I had. He took me under his wing for a crucial time in my younger years. I’ll be forever great full of his willingness to help me, when he didn’t need to.

I remember being 14 years old in Agoura and eating ice cream with his son Teddy, “Big Ted” would tell us funny jokes and laugh at the jokes we would tell him (our jokes were ridiculously bad, but he still had a laugh).

He would always ask me how life was going and if I needed anything at the beginning of all our conversations. 

One of my fondest memories was early in the morning when I lived with him in Cambria... He explained to me that Cheerios, like Coke, and Marlboro will always be there. I think he meant that certain things in life will never change.

He had a way with words and a heart that he shared with everyone. 

I would love to have a chance to let him know that I will always be great full for the chance he took to help me expand my horizons and test myself to branch out into the world (Now I live in Hawai’i).

I'm sadden, Ted and I was friends. I met Ted through our incredible run in a MLM Company. He blessed me and my family a great deal. I recall the first year meeting him at a convention where he was introduced as the Company's Attorney. But he grabbed the mic and did a comedy act that I will never ever forget. He had everyone laughing so hard it was incredible. 

Then later we met again after he had re-written Law that allowed people like you and I to become Travel Agents. He was my friend and anytime that I would call he would make time for me.

I will truly miss my friend may God give him rest.

Until we meet again Ted and as I have told you thank you for everything!!

Ted was a father to many of us, even to those who weren’t his biological children. As I have experienced life as a step-parent; it can be an awkward role to fill but, he did it with ease . He worked tirelessly and lived his life exactly the way he wanted to without fear and anxiety. He could always see the ‘positive’ when others shared their problems with him and often offered good advice.
He was one of the smartest people I’ve known and also, extremely generous. I am sure he is heaven, sitting back, and smoking a Kent light with a Pepsi in hand. He was simple yet, complex like an enigma. Cheers to a good life and enjoying heaven. Ted  will be missed. ❤️

Ted was my "baby" brother, being 5 years older than I rather than 7, like our older brother John.  After our father died when I was 9, Ted became an important part of my life.  He took me places all the time, and even if our mother told him to (it never occurred to me at the time), I never felt he resented it.  He bought me a little record player with one of his first paychecks and even took me on dates with his future wife, Cleo.  He was smart, hardworking and funny, with a quick wit and charm.  Throughout my teenage years he made me feel special and I will never forget what a wonderful brother he was.

One of Ted’s favorite books was Tom Clancy’s The hunt For Red October. He would read it at least two times a month and after he put it down he would say what s good book it was. He also liked Tom Clancy's Clear And Present Danger.  

Catcher in the rye  was always a favorite of his too. 

He liked funny movies and  oddly enough  Romantic movies.

He wasn’t a simple man but a very complicated one. 

He will be missed by many including me and will always remain the love if my life.
