Ruth Elizabeth Chase

Ruth Elizabeth Chase (87) passed away peacefully into God's Heavenly Presence on October 6, 2012. Ruth was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Friend to many. She is reunited in Heaven with her husband, Warren G. Chase. She is survived by her six children, Warren Joseph Chase, Lynda Breault, Patricia McPadden, Vickie Kropp, Cheryl Chase, Doreen Torres (Phoenix, Arizona) and her sister, Georgia Ann Meiners (St. Louis, Missouri). She was the proud and loving Grandmother of twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ruth was born in Quincy, Illinois, raised in Vandalia, Missouri, and relocated with her family to Phoenix, Arizona in 1958.

Ruth graduated from the Sanford-Brown College in Missouri with a two-year business degree. In Phoenix, Ruth took great pride in her twenty-five year career as laboratory technician processing electronic wafers at Motorola in Scottsdale, Arizona. Ruth was a very energetic volunteer as a Maryvale High School Booster Club member for years. Her hobbies included baking and decorating creative cakes for her children, creating memorable photographs and albums of her beloved Family, rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team as well as a the Arizona Cardinal Football team, and babysitting for her grandchildren. Ruth also had a "green thumb" as a gardener and her beautiful flower gardens yielded multitudes of gorgeous roses. A graveside Memorial Service for Family members will be held on October 12, 2012 at 10:00 A.M., Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona.
