Rosemary was born in Barry, Illinois on May 22, 1928 to the late Wayne and Freda Canterbury. She was an Registered Nurse for many years. She loved fishing, camping and just being outdoors. Music was a big part of her life. She played the Trumpet, the Cornet and the piano. She had a beautiful voice and liked to sing in her church choir. She loved to read and she loved football. She always looked forward to family gatherings to see all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rosemary is survived by a brother, Marvin Canterbury, her children, Steve Metcalf, Cathy Lacy, Curt Metcalf, Pam Haug-Ciaccio, Shawn Haug-Bauer, Julee Carnes, Jim Haug and Marty Haug, her grandchildren, Jeff Metcalf, Jimmy Metcalf, Brian Metcalf, Carie Johns, Chad Lacy, Ashley Wehrman, Tyler Metcalf, Zach Meier, Katy Meier, Shane Bauer, Leland Gardner, Jessica Bann, Audrey Nottingham, Ashley Moore, Brittany Killough, Josh Haug, Jennifer Haug and 18 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband James G. Haug, daughter Jacque Mikkelson and grandson Michael Halal.
Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale.
