Robert J. Sapien was a wonderful husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a very hard worker and an amazing provider. His family always had what they needed, even more! He loved his family very much and they loved him even more!!! He protected and took very good care of his wife Julie and four children. He would do anything for anyone!! Robert enjoyed traveling and spending precious time with his family. Almost every year, he would take his family on special vacations. These vacations would either be camping up north in the mountains or having fun at the California amusement parks & beaches. At one point in his career, Robert had a few long work training assignments up in Oregon where he would spend a year at a time. His wife and kids would spend the summers up there with him and had a blast! He also had a special interest in repairing electronics, which he would do a lot in his free time. He could fix any tv, vcr, radio or computer! Robert had talent in not only electronics, but auto mechanics, electricity and plumbing. He was able to make big repairs to his vehicles and home on his own without much effort. His sons would assist him and they also learned several mechanic skills from him! Robert took after his own father Arthur, who was a very talented carpenter. He learned how to construct and build furniture and other things from wood. Robert made large room additions to his own home with help from his brother Thomas and his sons Steven, Julian and Andrew. Robert loved to enjoy and see new movies whether it was in the theater or at home in his big comfy recliner and in front of his big screen TV. Robert also enjoyed helping people and feeding people. He would always be quick to go deliver a yummy meal to family or friends just to see their faces light up. Robert loved to entertain, especially for the Fourth of July! Everyone would be invited over to watch fireworks and he would grill the best steaks on earth! He had the biggest heart and most beautiful smile! Robert will be truly missed and forever loved by all of his family and friends! He is resting up in Heaven watching over us all! Until we meet again!
