Robert Pena Ortiz, age 65, passed away at his home in Maricopa on July 20, 2017. He was born on June 10, 1952 in Phoenix to parents Waldo and Anita Ortiz and served in the United States Air Force. Robert enjoyed watching western movies, like El Dorado, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son Carlos Ortiz (Samantha); his ex-wife Stella Ortiz; his siblings, David, Waldo, Jesse, Benji, Mary Helen, and Loraine; and his grandchildren Khylee, Paige, Trinity, Dante, Savannah, Scarlett, and Lyric.
Robert was a very loving and caring man who loved to sit and watch the ducks swim in the lake. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm followed by funeral service at 2:00 pm both held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ. He will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
