Ray Donald Bafus

Ray entered the United States Air Force in March of 1952 and served through August of 1960. After this service, Ray and his family moved to Phoenix, AZ and he joined the Arizona Air National Guard. He served in the guard from 1960 until his retirement in 1976. He had numerous overseas deployments during this time. After retirement he continued to work in the civil service.

Ray was preceded in death by his wife Claudia. He is survived by his son, Randy (Jody) of Scottsdale, AZ and his daughter, Carrie LePage (Jim) of Peoria, AZ, five grandchildren, Kylie and Keagan Bafus and Justin, Cory, and Jordan LePage, and three great grandchildren, Ethyn, Gage, and Gunner LePage.

During his life Ray enjoyed fishing, bowling leagues, and watching sports. While Claudia was alive they loved to visit Laughlin, NV and spending summer vacations in Washington State. Ray was also a lover of every kind of ice cream!

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ.
