The Garcia family moved to Arizona when she was 8 years old. Ofelia graduated from Casa Grande High School. In August of 1972 she married Victor Morales. They had a daughter Audra together. Victor died on November 11, 1977 after just 5 years of marriage.
Ofelia worked for Montgomery Ward for over 30 years first at Valley West and later at Desert Sky. When she wasn’t busy working and being a single mom, she enjoyed crocheting.
Ofelia is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Audra & Mijial Gamez, granddaughter Gabriala Gamez, great grandson Dominic Ramirez and her sister Ida Zertuche.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother Juan Garcia.
Family and friends are invited to a rosary on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5614 W. Orangewood Avenue, Glendale beginning at 9:30AM followed by a funeral mass at 10AM. Inurnment will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
