Maria "Tillie" Matilda Fierro Castillo

Maria (Tillie) Fierro Castillo, 78, of Glendale, Arizona, Passed away on 10/28/2020 in Glendale Arizona. She was born on 11/09/1941 to the late Simon and Carmen Fierro in El Paso, Texas. She attended Garfield High School in East Los Angeles, California, Graduating in 1960. Maria Castillo worked as a cook for the state of Arizona. In 1960 she married Luis Castillo in Los Angeles, California. She enjoyed her grandkids, cooking, and sewing.

Maria Castillo is survived be three children, four siblings, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren (with more on the way), and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded by her husband Luis Castillo, son Edward Castillo, and daughter Leslie Rodriguez.

A visitation will occur Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by a Rosary service at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St Thomas More Catholic Church, 6180 W. Utopia Road, Glendale, AZ 85308. A committal service will occur Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Glendale Memorial Park Cemetery, 7844 N. 61st Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
