Karen Elaine Hoesel (75) of Glendale, Arizona gained her Angel Wings on May 18, 2018. Karen was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 21st, 1942. Karen grew up in Chicago graduating from Cardinal Stritch High School. She married in 1963 and had twins, Ken and Kim in 1967. She moved to Woodstock, Illinois in 1973. She went on to study and take classes related to Law at McHenry County College which led to her career as a Legal Secretary working for Caldwell Berner & Caldwell for many years. Karen moved her family to Arizona in 1989 to take care of her aging parents and continued her career as a legal secretary retiring in 2003 after both of her parents had passed. She then moved to Show Low, Arizona to live with her brother James until his passing. Missing her children, Karen came back to Glendale in 2016. Karen loved TV programs, painting by the numbers and spending time on “girls trips” with her daughter Kim at various casinos. Karen leaves behind her twins Ken and Kim (Brent); nieces Judy and Sharon; nephew Larry; her “other” daughter Krissy and her husband Marty with their grandson Leland; and many other family and friends. Karen is preceded in Heaven by her parents Anthony and Harriet; brothers Richard and James; and sister in law Janice. Karen will be greatly missed. Services are scheduled at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary West Chapel (enter from the rear of the building) located at 7924 N. 59th Ave. Glendale, AZ
