Karen, 76, formerly of Reading, Pennsylvania, was born on March 16, 1948 in Washington D.C. to the late George Sines and Alice Simmons. She graduated from Pottstown High School, class of 1966; then furthered her education at Maxwell Institute School of Computer Science through Gwynedd Mercy University. Karen worked as an IT Senior Systems Analyst for General Public Utilities (GPU). She continued her career as a consultant on Y2K projects for both American Express and the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
She enjoyed traveling and living life to the fullest.
Karen is survived by her loving spouse of 23 years, Douglas Baker; daughter Tracey L. Snyder and her husband Michael; sisters Alice Patricia Beers and Lorraine Stanley; and her beautiful granddaughters Kylie Brown, Cassidy Brown, Tatum Brown, and Shannon Snyder. She was preceded in death by her son Gary W. Brown Jr., and her brother Andrew J. Gresko Jr.
Karen was the sunshine of our lives and will forever be remembered as a loving angel who is now in heaven, watching over her loved ones.
