It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Gary A. Vigneault, 61, on February 22, 2016, of Litchfield Park AZ. Gary dedicated his life to being a devoted father, grandfather, and friend to all. He served in the United States Coast Guard, was a retired police officer from the Phoenix Police Department after 25 years, worked for the Arizona Department of Gaming, and served as an Arizona American Legion Riders District 11 Representative. Throughout his career, he was the recipient of numerous awards and commendations, highlighted with the Medal of Valor. He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa and Anna; three grandchildren, Haley, Brynna, and Mia; his father, Richard Vigneault; sisters, Debbie (Joe), Tina (Bob), Lori (Mark), Anita (Terry); brother, Mike (Robbie); and many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his loving mother, Doris Vigneault. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, March 4th, 2016 at 10am, at Christ's Church of the Valley, 7007 W. Happy Valley Road, Peoria, AZ 85383. A reception following the service will be at the pavilion. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Gary's memory to the charity of your choice.
