Eddie Joseph Valdez

Eddie Valdez, Senior passed away Monday September 26, 2022 at the age of 83. He was a friend to all... He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Eddie married his high school sweetheart Priscilla Martinez in 1959. The couple were married at Most Holy Trinity in Sunnyslope, Arizona. Their 63 years of marriage was a blessing that benefited the entire family.

Eddie took early retirement at the age of 57, so he could spend more time with his family . He was a great father to his children and always took everyone camping, fishing, and traveling. Eddie enjoyed traveling with his wife of 62 years. They traveled to Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico and Canada often. They also enjoyed cruises. Eddie was always there when family, extended family and neighbors lending a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all knew and adored him.

He is survived by his wife Priscilla; sons of Francisco Pilar, Eddie, and Anthony; daughter Cynthia; survived brother Frank Valdez Jr. He was preceded in death by his son Marty; brothers Richard, Raul, Victor and Sammy; sisters, Henrietta and Betty Jo. He was loved and adored by all five of his grandchildren and 10 of his great grandchildren.

A Rosary service for Eddie will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N. 35th Ave, Phoenix, Arizona, with a Funeral Mass will to follow . A Graveside service will occur Monday, October 3, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, Arizona, with a reception to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, Arizona
