Carolyn Lee MacAlpine

Carolyn Lee MacAlpine, age 80, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. Carolyn was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on August 11, 1942 to her parents Walter and Mildred. On September 15, 1967 she became happily married to Robert MacAlpine Sr.

Carolyn attended Eastern Michigan University, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Music. She had an inspiring career working in Elementary Education as a teacher in schools in Michigan, Phoenix, and Glendale. In 2016, she was awarded with the Lamp of Learning achievement. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, and had a passion for her sewing and quilting groups. Carolyn had dedication to her family, and a commitment to her community. She volunteered at her church, and at her grand and great-grandchildren's school. Carolyn enjoyed helping to provide for others in need.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father Walter, and her mother Mildred. She was survived by her husband Robert, and children, Rob and his wife Patricia, Scott and his wife Tammy, Dawn and her husband Lucian, grandchildren Zach, Shaylen, Jakob, Robby, Aiden, Matthew, and Nicholas, great-granddaughter Bryna, bonus granddaughters Violet, and Leona, and her brother Lawrence.

A memorial service for Carolyn will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
