Alfonso’s parents, Florentino and Anastasio. Then the family moved to Arizona. Attended Glendale High School in the class of 1960. Then attending Glendale Community College earning an Associates in Arts Degree in 1984. Alfonso had enlisted into the United States Army in 1964. Once completing his service was given an Honorable Discharge having achieved the rank of a Specialist.
Alfonso had worked over a decade with U-Haul company, Then working for the state of Arizona till his retirement in 2009. During that time married Micaela Rojero on May 15, 1999. Then started a family soon afterward.
Alfonso and Micaela, both devout followers, attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for many years with the growing family always supporting through donations. Later in life a usual at the local YMCA conversing with many people over lunch.
A man of many interests, Alfonso had a passion for technology and cherished classic hobbies, including gardening, reading, and passionately followed football and baseball. He valued the connections he made with family and friends, cherishing each moment spent together.
Alfonso is survived by Micaela and his sons Daniel and Alexander.
The family thanks the wonderful hospice nurses from Hospice of the Valley. Thanks also goes to the nurses from Arrowhead Hospital during his stay. Special appreciation goes to the many friends and family that supported throughout the years, both to Alfonso and to the family.
His legacy of love, service, and dedication will be cherished by all who knew him.
