Ed Green

Edward D. Green, 70, of Mapleton, Illinois passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center. He was born May 28, 1944 in Peoria, IL to David and Maurine (Miller) Green. Ed married Annette Ross on July 14, 1973 in Kilburn, IL.

Surviving is his wife Annette of Mapleton, IL; daughter Debbie (Brian) Ochetti of Prior Lake, MN; his son Brett (Liz Haffner) Green of Canton, IL and their children Emma, Ethan, Elliot, Ethan W., Luke, and Drake; his son Troy (Charissa) Green of Mapleton, IL and their son Owen. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Patricia Messer; and his brother Larry Green.

Ed retired as a steamfitter and member of Steamfitters Local 353 for over forty years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, watching Nascar, and spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends.

Services will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Glasford Chapel. Pastor Johnny Creasong will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.
