Tracy Katharine Middleton

A resident of Kansas City, Missouri her entire life, she was born November 13, 1968, the daughter of Larry and Pamela Middleton. She graduated Park Hill High School in 1987. She wanted to be a marine biologist but that was put on hold when she had her first child, Ricki Jean in 1987 and her son, Spencer James in 1993.

Tracy was a firm believer and follower of Jesus. She read her devotional every morning. She was a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan from the moment she was born. She had an infectious laugh and a carefree spirit. Although she had been through rough points her in life, she always held her head high and fought through it. She was a spit fire with no filter and a heart of gold which is what we all loved about her.

She was welcomed to Heaven by her father, Larry Middleton; her son, Spencer Crosthwait; and her grandparents, Bud & Reba Middleton and Melvin & Beatrice Lusby.

Tracy is survived by her mother, Pamela Middleton of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Ricki DeRuse and husband Bret DeRuse of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Christian Middleton of Kansas City, Missouri, nieces and nephew, Christian Jr and Illyana Middleton, Mindy and Katy Cussen of Olathe, Kansas; her grandchildren, Dexter and Declan DeRuse of Kansas City, Missouri and many cousins, aunts and uncles and great friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at Liberty Community Center Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
