Pat worked at TG&Y, managing multiple locations across the Kansas City area. He was also a Farmland truck driver and part of the Coast Guard. He was an animal lover at his core and when he retired in 1998, he spent his free time taking care of his horses and other extended fur family, watching westerns, and reading history books.
Despite his poor health, he was a man of full of ambition and one of his favorite pastimes was sitting at the airport, watching airplanes take flight. Even though his legs couldn’t carry him far, he found his own wings.
He is survived by his three sons and their wives Christopher and Brenda Adams, Michael and Kendra Adams, Gary Adams and his wife Rebecca Hosoya; two daughters, Laurie Adams and Brenda Elmore; ten grandchildren, Christopher Elmore, Michael Adams, Kyle Elmore, Johnathan Adams, Samuel Adams, Daniel Adams, Robert Elmore, Mallory Adams-Greene, Natalie Adams, and Merrin Adams; and six great grandchildren Karson, Castiel, Kaiden, Emersyn, Camryn Elmore, and Sonny Adams-Greene. Pat was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Neva Adams; his two horses, Thunder and Rodney; and his dog, Sparky.
