Our fondest memories will be of the wonderful husband, father, and grandfather that he was. He graduated from East High School in 1967 and attended the University of Central Missouri. He and several friends established the first transportation company in Kansas City for the disabled. After several years the City purchased the company. He later went to work for the city of Kansas City, Missouri Service Department before joining the Aviation Department where he retired after 20 years. He met his wife Cheryl in 2004 and they married on October 26, 2010 on the island of Antigua. This union blended families with “his children” including Shaun Duffy; Bruce and Eric Williams; Michael Driskell; Melissa and Jason White; and Angela Kamp. He loved being the Grandpa to Abigail, Alex, Addison, and Avery Williams; Dylan and Trevor White; and Zian, Kyra, and Alec Kamp. This is where he absolutely shined and his memory will live on through them. His favorite past time was to travel, particularly to Branson and spend time by the lake.
We would welcome you to a gathering of family and friends from 2-4pm on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the Newcomer’s White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd. Gladstone, MO 64119.
