Linda was born on March 30, 1941 in Ohio to Burton and Gladys Smith. Linda was a proud mother of two children, Darlene Pembridge and Franklin T. Nichols, Jr. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle woman of God. Linda was a volunteer teaching assistant at Eagle Heights Christian School for many years because of her love for children. She was also previously a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church. Linda could often be found reading her Bible and enjoying Sudoku puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Gladys (Fonger) Smith, sister Penny Nichols and brother Edwin Sobony.
Linda is survived by her daughter Darlene Pembridge, son Franklin T. Nichols Jr., seven grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, one Brother Michael, Sisters Helene and Frances, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Linda will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at White Chapel Cemetery in the Revelations Mausoleum. A Celebration of Life with graveside to follow at 10:30 AM, all at 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, MO 64119.
