John David Thomas

Johnny was born on August 27, 1960 in North Kansas City, Missouri to John Thomas and Donna Mastalski. He graduated from Liberty High School and then studied at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. Johnny moved back to Liberty and worked at Quik Trip and then Valley One Stop. In 1993, he began his career at Harrah’s Casino as a card dealer. He was an avid Kansas City sports fan and loved the Royals and Chiefs.

Johnny is survived by his mom Donna (Kevin) Mastalski; brothers Jeff Thomas, Mike (Marsha) Thomas, Doug Thomas; nieces and nephews Mataya Thomas, Austin Thomas, Blake (Jacquie) Thomas and Garrett Thomas.

A visitation for John will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a celebration of life to follow. John will then be taken to the garden of Nativity East for a committal service, all at White Chapel Funeral Home and Cemetery 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri 64119.
