Jesse was born on October 1, 1991, in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Winnetonka High School in 2010. Shortly after graduating, Jesse entered into the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 3 apprenticeship and started his career as a union drywall finisher/painter.
Jesse had a special rhythm to life. He would listen, sing and dance to any genre. Any object or surface quickly turned into a drum set with a rhyme to go along. His passion for music, paired with his perfectly timed unique jokes and his love to laugh made him memorable for a lifetime after only meeting him once.
His smile would light up a room and a party wasn’t complete until he walked in. He’d hug you when he saw you, while you’re there and when you leave. A loving family man, a devoted friend and naturally talented human being that would always give a shoulder to cry on and find a way to brighten your day. He will be greatly missed by many.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Teresa Wayman and Danny Wayman; his brother, Jacob Wayman; his grandmothers, Diane Fortner and Linda Wayman, all who live in Kansas City, MO. He also left behind an aunt, uncle, and several cousins along with his extended Eckert family. Jesse also had many friends he considered a brother or a sister more than a friend.
Visitation will be from 11-2 and the Celebration of Life from 2-3 on Monday, November 25th, 2024 at White Chapel Funeral Home in Gladstone, MO. Friends and family are welcome to gather at Antioch Bar and Grill following the ceremony to reminisce and share memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please send donations to the GoFundMe set up to offset the family’s costs.
The family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support during this very difficult time.
