Jeff received his bachelor's degree in Animal Husbandry from MU. He practiced his education working on a farm in Augusta, MO. He lived in Augusta for 5 years where he met the mother of his children.
He then returned to the Kansas City area to accept a Union job offer. He planted his roots outside of Weston, MO where he built his home and fulfilled his dream of raising his three children in the country. Jeff retired from the Kansas City Carpenter's Union in 2013 with broad knowledge in his field and passed his knowledge on to many. He enjoyed to hunt, fish and participate in all outdoor activities. He made an impact on the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all.
Jeff is survived by his children; John Stewart of Weston, MO, Brian Stewart of Kansas City, MO, and Laura Stewart of Kansas City, MO; grandson, Lincoln Stewart and nephew, Jessie Stewart. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Smith and Dorothy.
Private family memorial service December 12, 2020. Following the service, all friends and family are welcome to gather at John's house to celebrate his life starting at 3:00pm. Services under the direction of White Chapel Funeral Home.
