Born in Kansas City, MO, Greg had been with Norfolk Southern for over 20 years, and was currently an Assistant Division Superintendent. He served in the US Marine Reserves as Sergeant, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in MO, including being a volunteer firefighter. Greg enjoyed riding his Harley, bike riding, boating and most passionate about fishing. He was involved with various benefit societies like the American Diabetes Foundation, Live Strong Benefit, and more recently the Lymphoma and Leukemia Cancer Society.
Surviving are his wife, Dorine Culver of Kansas City, MO; his son, Ryan Culver of Kansas City, MO; his mother, LaDonna Culver of Kansas City, MO; his brother, Lane Culver and wife, Kari of St. Louis, MO; and Greg's step-son, Rick Huff of Kansas City, MO. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Gary Culver, of Kansas City, MO.
Memorial Service was held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2:00 pm, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home at 1140 Lake Avenue, with visitation 1 hour prior. A visitation is on Friday, June 13, 2014, 2:00-5:00 pm & 7:00-9:00 pm.
A second Memorial Service was held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm, at White Chapel Funeral Home in Gladstone, MO with visitation 1 hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lymphoma and Leukemia Cancer Society.
