He was born on December 13, 1942 in Kansas City, MO to Glenn and Gladys McNutt. After graduating from North Kansas City High School, Curt joined the Army and moved to Ft. Hood. After three years he was honorably discharged from the Army. He moved back to Kansas City and began working for Trans World Airlines (TWA) as an aircraft mechanic and later joined the Navy Reserves as an Aircraft Mechanic - Hydraulic (AMH).
Curt loved racing motorcycles during his younger years and continued with his passion by joining the Booze Fighters Motorcycle Club (BFMC), the original Wild Ones. Curt "8 Ball" served as President and Charter Holder for Chapter 59 and was a Booze Fighters National Advisor.
Curt had two sons, Wayne and David, with his former wife, Myrl Coker McNutt Palmer.
He is preceded in death by Glenn and Gladys McNutt, his sister Janet McNutt, his son Wayne McNutt and his beloved Dachshund, Chopper.
Curt is survived by David & Debbie McNutt, Brandon McNutt, Kaitlynne McNutt, Garrett McNutt and Brett Johnson.
Per his request, Curt is being cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony in the spring.
