Cathy Jean Keeton

Cathy was born on February 10, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Cosby G. & Joyce H. Price. Cathy graduated from Oak Park High School in 1971. Cathy married Charlie Keeton, a Print Setter for the Kansas City Star. After moving to Houston, Texas, Cathy began working for PST as a Software Specialist/ IT Tech. Her family remembers her as a friendly, outgoing & ambitious. Cathy was accomplished at whatever job or hobby she chose and often demonstrated her skills at work and home by helping others. She had a great sense of humor and loved practical jokes; she loved sports- football being her favorite, especially her beloved Dallas Cowboys. She was also very passionate about Golden Retrievers. She was an active and dedicated member of the The Golden Retriever Club and often volunteered at their Independence location.

She is preceded in death by her father Cosby G. Price, mother Joyce H. Price and sister Pamela A. Anthony all from Missouri.

Cathy is survived by her sisters Connie G. Lillich of Winchester, KS; Penny E. Sun Bear of Liberty, MO; and multiple nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Penguin Park at 1:00 pm on Sunday April 3rd, at 4124 N.E. Vivion Rd. Kansas City, MO 64119. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cathy’s life.
