Ida Rachel Kinslow

It is with heartfelt sadness that we the family announce the passing of Ida Rachel Kinslow on April 2,2016 in her 97th year at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, Ont.

Beloved daughter of the late Herbert and Etta Nash, cherished wife of the late Albert Kinslow for 54 years. Ida resided most of her life in Glace Bay, and spent the last 15 years in Oshawa with her children. She enjoyed her bingo and card games with her friends.

Loving mother of Mae Bell (late Larry) and Charles (Linda); proud grandmother of Lori, the late Kimberley, Kevin and special Nan to Cori; great grandmother of Ryan, Adam, Matthew, Joseph and Sage.

She is also survived by brothers Charles, Rueben, Rev. Arthur (Emily) and Les (Ruth); sisters Eileen MacLellan and Barbara Andrews.

She is predeceased by brother James, Allie, Jack, Herb, Clayton, Phillip, George and Wallace; sisters Lillian, Margaret, Mae, Jean and Delores.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 6,2016 from 2-4 and 7-9pm in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St Glace Bay. Funeral service will take place on Thursday April 7 at 2pm in St. Mary’s Anglican Church.
