Her inurnment will be Friday, December 6, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard Neugebauer officiating. At her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing. Memorials may be given to the Faith Lutheran Church. Rosa was born on February 25, 1935 to Clarence and Ellen (Sunday) Caton in Oshkosh, Nebraska. She lived in Texas from 1959 to 1998. She married Ernest Miskimen in 2002 at Gering, Nebraska. Rosa was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughter Karen Rhodes; stepchildren Rod Miskimen, Tim Miskimen, and Terri (Jim) Ford; grandchildren Brady (Sterling) Rhodes, Bryan (Hope) Rhodes Desta Barnes, Megan (Cody) Sabo and Elizabeth Hopkins; 13 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Harvey (Grace) Miskimen and sisters-in-law Carol Caton, Sherry Caton and Marie (Harry) Safford, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosa was preceded in death by her grandparents AJ and Jessie Sunday, Milch and Emma Caton, parents Clarence and Ellen Caton, sisters Jessie Caton, Vada Joanne Scofield, brothers Harold Caton and Larry Caton; husbands Wallace Carrol, John Smith and Ernest Miskimen; brothers-in-law Robert Miskimen, Louis Miskimen and LeRoy Scofield; sisters in-law Patricia Miskimen and Fae Miskimen; son Robert Carroll, grandson Ian Hartman and son-in-law Eugene Rhodes.
