Selia Molina Myers, known to everyone as "Sally" passed from this life into eternity on Monday, February 13, 2012. Sally's passing was due to natural causes and occurred in Georgetown, Texas. She was 56 years old.
Sally was born to Humberto Molina and Heriberta Navarette Molina on October 19, 1955 in Brownwood Texas. Sally grew up in Brownwood graduating from Brownwood High School in 1975. She spent time living in Brownwood, Midland, Georgetown and Austin and worked the last 24 years for Farmers Insurance Group in Round Rock, Texas.
Sally was artistic and had an eye for beauty, admiring nature and its many colors. She captured these elements beautifully in her art which included acrylic, oil, charcoal and ink paintings and drawings. She was also an accomplished scrapbooker and created original jewelry using glass beads, shells, silver and gold.
Sally leaves behind so many friends and loved ones to cherish her memory. She is survived by her children, Leslie Myers of Georgetown, Texas and Augustus "Gus" Myers of Fort Stockton, Texas; grandchildren, Sheradyn and Tierney Molina of Brownwood, Texas; mother, Heriberta "Betty" Molina of Georgetown, Texas; and her brothers and their spouses: Bert and Liz Molina of Alexandria, Virginia, Osvaldo and Misti Molina of Brownwood, Texas, Mario and Marilynn Molina of Seabrook, Texas and Noe Molina of Georgetown, Texas. Other loved ones are Sally's nieces and nephews, Crystal, Jody, Jeremy and Alisha, and Ashley Molina; her lifelong best friend, Pam Dyer Ellis of Brownwood, Texas; extended family, Jessica, Marie, Jack and Roxie Ward of Georgetown, Texas; and her Farmer's Insurance family of friends.
Family will receive visitors from 6-8pm Thursday, February 16, 2012 at which time the traditional Catholic Rosary will be prayed at 7pm at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will take place Friday, February 17, 2012 at 10am in the chapel at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home and internment will follow at Our Lady of the Guadalupe Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Bert Molina, Osvaldo Molina, Mario Molina, Noe Molina, Jody Molina and Eddie Navarette.
