Ruth Georgiana Parker

Ruth Georgiana Parker, 90 years, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015. She was born on October 9, 1924 in Cerro, New Mexico to parents Georgiana Young and Thomas Jenkins. Ruth was a devout Catholic and member of Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church in Andice, Texas.

Ruth was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles P. Parker, brothers Thomas, George, Leo and Bob Jenkins and sisters Angela Olguin, Evelyn Martin and Bernadette Avila.

Ruth leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Charles P. Parker III of Carlsbad, California and Robert J. Parker and wife Mary Kay of San Clemente, California; daughter, Barbara A. Gall and husband Steven of Georgetown, Texas; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Luella Draper of San Diego, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church in Andice, Texas. A reception will follow at the funeral home in the Southwestern Room.

It is requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be given to the Building Fund of the Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church, 6571 FM 970, Andice, Texas 76527.
