Ruby Darlene McCollum, age 77 passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Mrs. McCollum was born January 29, 1947 in Austin, Texas, the daughter of Aubrey Mayo and Betty Alice (Denton) Waggoner. She and Thomas McCollum were united in marriage on October 5, 1965 at the Decker United Methodist Church. Mrs. McCollum was a Medical Transcriptionist and personal secretary to several physicians. She enjoyed quilting and was a quilting instructor. Mr. & Mrs. McCollum owned and operated Rockin Mc Ranch for many years. Mrs. McCollum was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thomas McCollum; daughter Laura Michelle Taylor of Virginia and son Thomas Neal McCollum of Liberty Hill.
