Pat is survived by one sister, Ima Jean Hawkins of Childress, TX; three daughters, Charlotte Carter and husband Harvey of Georgetown, TX (Sun City), Catherine (Cathy) Johnson and husband Tony of Christoval, TX, and Terri Kinzey of San Angelo, TX; seven grandchildren, Jeff Carter and wife Tonya of Magnolia,TX, Rick Goins of Abilene,TX, Rebecca Goins Riojas and husband Roy of Christoval, TX, Julie Ann Carter of San Angelo, TX, Kyle Kinzey of San Angelo, TX, Justin Kinzey and wife Cherri of Killeen, TX, and Kayla Kinzey Papke and husband Justin of Fort Lewis, WA; eleven great grandchildren who called her “Gran”, Monica, Tomas, Brittany, Nolan, Bryce, Devion, Dylan, Peyton, Karissa, Lane and Kaylea; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Pat loved life and lived it to the fullest. After 33 years, she retired from GTE (Verizon) as a Business Office Manager. She and Homer traveled in a motor home across the United States before making their final home in Georgetown (Sun City), TX. Pat enjoyed playing golf with the nine-hole golf ladies, playing cards with friends and traveling. She was a member of the Worship Place in Sun City.
A memorial service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
