Monte Karl Guess

Monte was a graduate of Georgetown High School, Class of 1987.

He spent the majority of his career as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) serving the citizens of Williamson County. Most recently, he was employed with his father and his son at Guess Backhoe Service.

Monte loved spending time with his family on Lake Georgetown enjoying water sports and supporting his children in dirt bike racing activities. Monte was known as a very friendly person who always had a compliment to share with anyone, friend or stranger.

Monte is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents - Edith & Ernest Guess and LaVerne & Herbert Grimm. He is survived by his parents - Pat & Daryl Guess; his daughter - Callie Guess; his son and girlfriend - Aiden Guess and Angie Cardona; his sister and her husband - Melissa & Keith Armstrong; his nephew and wife - Victoria & Tyler Armstrong; his niece - Brooke Armstrong; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A note from Callie:

My dad was a wonderful father with many amazing attributes. He was kind to everybody, the funniest man we knew, and had a genuine soul. He taught me so many things and is one of the main contributors who made me the woman I am today and for that, I'll always be so grateful. I love you so much daddy, give my love to Gizzy and Tucker.

A note from Aiden:

My dad was a respectful and gentle man who taught me just about every value that I hold near and dear to my heart. He was loving and kind to anyone who would let him close. He was the dad of my dreams and made it his life mission to grant me and my sister our dreams.

The family will be receiving visitors at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home at 2900 Williams Dr. Georgetown, Texas 78628 on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 5-7 pm.
