She wore many hats beyond her roles as an amazing mother and wife: Educator, woodworker, crafter, artist, Girl Scout leader. Her passion for reading was unparalleled and it was apparent in the stories she adored sharing. Every experience for her became a story, about family, friends, acquaintances and peers. Some stories were funny, some were sad, and some became folk allegories with lessons about life and faith; all recounted with humor, compassion and love.
