Cullen Bryant Williams Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2024. Born on February 20, 1953, Cullen’s life was marked by dedication, love, and an unwavering commitment to his family and passions.
Cullen was born in Taylor, TX, and grew up in Granger, TX, before finally making his home in Georgetown, TX. Throughout his career, he worked as a golf course superintendent and later as an inventory control specialist for several technology companies, showcasing a remarkable work ethic and keen attention to detail.
At home, Cullen cherished the simple pleasures of life. His passion for landscaping his lawn resulted in a meticulously maintained yard, reflecting his love for nature and attention to detail. This serene space provided him with solace and satisfaction, embodying the care and dedication he brought to all aspects of his life.
Cullen had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes, always aiming to make those around him feel comfortable. He was also an excellent listener and a keen observer of life.
Cullen’s greatest joy came from his family, especially his grandchildren. He cherished every moment with them, whether attending sports activities, playing card games, sharing amusing stories and memories from his childhood, or simply watching a good movie together at home.
Those left to cherish Cullen’s life and legacy are his wife, Janice Cervenka; daughter Tracy Longoria and husband Joseph; daughter Tina Norris and domestic partner Donald Smith; daughter Katie Williams and domestic partner Kalin Noble, step-son Matthew Hajda and wife Allison Hajda; step-son Nick Hajda; and grandchildren Sarah Longoria, Emile Longoria, Jasmine Longoria, Claire Hajda, Evan Hajda; siblings James Williams, John Williams and wife Darla, Jess Williams, Linda Jezisek and domestic partner Aurther Martinez, and Betty Williams. He was preceded in death by his sister Cynthia Archer. He was also uncle to many nieces and nephews, whom he loved.
A visitation for Cullen will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628, with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Our Lady Of The Rosary Cemetery, 330 Berry Lane, Georgetown, Texas 78626. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cullen’s memory to a charity of your choice.
Cullen Bryant Williams will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit will live on in the cherished memories and the lives of those he touched.
