Carolyn Gayle Hawkins

Carolyn was born in El Dorado, Texas on August 30, 1943. She moved to the Leander area in March of 1969. This is where she created a home for her family and raised her three children. Much of her time was spent surrounded by friends and family making memories and laughing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Buster Calcote; mother, Zula Calcote; brothers, Berts, Sammy Douglas, and Stanley; and her sister Virginia.

She leaves behind her brothers Mike and Jon; sisters Katherine, Delores, Jeanette, and Dale; her daughters Sheila (Chad) and Theresa; her son Curtis; her grandchildren, Chance (Reggie), Sarena (Josh) and Shavon; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander, Texas.
