Angelina Maldonado

Angelina was born in Sinton, Texas to Augustine Alvarado Sr. and Ninfa Herrera Alvarado Felt. She married the Love of her Life, Jesse R. Maldonado, on September 10, 1966. Angelina was known as Granny to many children. She provided childcare for all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many other babies in Georgetown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine Alvarado Sr. and Ninfa Herrera Alvarado Felt, as well as two daughters, Brenda and Jessica Maldonado.

Angelina is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jesse R. Maldonado; daughter, Amanda Garcia and husband, Steven; son, Roman Maldonado and wife, Marissa; honorary sons, Jeremy James and Michael James; granddaughters, Jennifer Garcia Vasquez and husband, Lorenzo, and Makayla Maldonado; grandsons, Jamie Garcia, Michael Distad, Kevin Distad, and Ethan Maldonado; great granddaughter, Annabel Cortopassi; great grandson, Lucca Cortopassi; honorary grandchildren, Jessie James, Diego James, and Marco James; sisters, Rosemary Alvarado, Linda Andre, Dorothy Vega and husband, Ruben, Erica Felt; and brother, Augustine Alvarado, Jr.

A visitation for Angelina will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628, followed by a rosary service at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, you can give an offering at your church in Angelina’s honor. Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts received from family and friends.
