Thomas William Barr (age 30) of Belmont, North Carolina Passed away on September 2, 2019 due to complications of infection. He grew up in Damascus, Maryland with his Mother Lisa, his Late Father Donny, and his two brothers Larry and David. He rode horses and went boating, fishing and crabbing with his family. Tommy was an incredibly loving man who cherished his family and was always filled with laughter, love and amazingly bright smiles. He loved cooking and was happy when he could cook for his family and see them enjoy his food. He lived life to the fullest whether he was out turkey or duck hunting or had a fishing pole in his hand deep sea fishing, or off a pier or on a pond. It didn’t matter if he caught anything or not it was fun to him. He attended La Cordon Bleu in Florida and excelled in his classes, it wasn’t long before he worked his way up the ranks and became an incredibly talented Executive Chef, who won many food competitions. He expected a lot out of his crew as he himself was hard working dedicated chef, but he always was understanding and would be there for his team when they needed a shoulder to lean on or words of encouragement. He loved his girlfriend Savannah with every fiber of his being and cherished her daughter Kinley and was a true father figure. His bond with them is unbreakable even though he has left this world to move on to the next. He will be greatly missed by so many, he touched so many lives with joy, love and happiness, gone too soon from this earth. He is up in heaven now, truly at peace and surrounded by his loved ones that have gone before him.
