Ruth Craig Cauble

A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of Albert Filmore and Edna Rankin Craig.

Mrs. Cauble was a member of First ARP Church in Gastonia.

She is survived by her children, Summey M. Cauble III of Gastonia, Laura R. Cauble of Winston Salem, Alan J. Cauble and wife Janice of Kannapolis, Steven Craig Cauble of Winston Salem; sister, Nancy Bryant; and granddaughter, Dara E. Cauble.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Summey M Cauble Jr.; brothers, Bill Craig, Frank Craig, Paul Craig, Allen Craig; sisters, Betty Lewis, Helen Taylor and Rachel Calvert.

A funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday at First ARP Church in Gastonia with Rev. Matt Kuiken and Chaplain Joan Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends 12:30 to 2pm Wednesday prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens.
