Margaret was a native of Charlotte. She was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church where she served on the cassette ministry for eleven years as well as other committees. Margaret loved her church, its people and her many friends.
Margaret is survived by Becky Hodges, who became like a daughter and her husband Jimmy as well as three brothers, David Fincher and his wife Sue, Frank Fincher, and Earle Fincher and his wife Robbie.
Margaret was the daughter of the late Rufus Mack Wilson and Dorothy Wilson Fincher. She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Luther Nolen Marlow.
A Life Well Celebrated Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday ~ August 14, 2019 in the Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina with Reverend Phil Meadows delivering words of comfort and hope to Margaret's family and friends.
A private graveside and interment will follow in the Four Seasons Garden at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The family will receive guests from 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Margaret’s honor to a favorite charity, church or hospice.
