Linda Kay Moore

Linda Kay Moore, 66, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas with her loving family by her side. Linda was born in Gastonia and was the daughter of the late Britt and Emma Collins Moore.

Linda retired from FedEx after many years of service. Linda attended Covenant Bible Church, Lincolnton for several years.

Linda was very proud of her family and loved them dearly.

Linda is survived by two sons, Greg “Tiny” Moore of Monroe, Anthony Britt Moore of Bennettsville, South Carolina; brother, James Moore (Barbara) of Gastonia; sister, Phyllis Moore of Gastonia; two grandchildren, Blake Moore and Steven Watson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Covenant Bible Church, 2168 Gastonia Highway, Lincolnton with Rev. Mike Devine officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the Celebration of Life Service at Covenant Bible Church.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Murphy, North Carolina.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Les Moore; sister, Shirley Jean Moore.
