Faye Allen

Faye was born on November 25, 1932 to the late Lester Cabe and the late Drucilla Aryes Cabe. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Allen; son, Michael Allen; sisters, Shirley Brackett, Dot Parton, Carolyn Henderson, Bobbi Wilson; and brother, Floyd Cabe.

Faye was a loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend. She was a partner with her husband and his brother at Dave and Ken's Superette in Gastonia for many years.

Survivors include daughters, Patricia Payne (Eddie), Vickie Madsen, and Donna Hughes (Dan); son, Kenneth Allen (Charlene); eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Swicegood (Jackie), Patsy Mesimer, and Helen McCaskill; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Faye will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, NC 28054. A funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home's Chapel. A committal service will take place after all services on Monday at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054.
