Jean Wilma Fischer (Atkinson), age 84, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Absolut Care in Gasport. Born April 8, 1932, Jean is the daughter of the late: William and Jennie (Kramer) Atkinson.
Jean was married to Edward O. Fischer. Mr. Fischer died in October of 1977. Jean worked as a factory worker at Niagara Foods in Middleport, NY.
Jean enjoyed flowers, and all animals.
She was a member of the Barker Senior and the Gasport Jet Set.
Surviving Jean is her children: William (Susan) Fischer, Ann Cogar (David Henning) and Genevieve Carey. Sister of: Kathy Curry (Frank). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Friday from 3-6 pm. Funeral Services will be held from the funeral home on Saturday at 11 am.
Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
