Winnette passed away peacefully Tuesday evening surrounded by her loving family at her home at the age of 89. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church Mt. Olive who loved her Lord Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, James T. (Tom) Graves; Parents, Albert Dewey and Loree Shipman; Brother, O’Dell Shipman. She is survived by her Sons, James A. Graves (Cindy), Thomas E. Graves (Linda), Kenneth O. Graves (Kamie)and Gene Paul Branham (Tonya); a twin sister, Juette Weissend; 10 Grandchildren; 17 Great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family extends special thanks to Hope Hospice, especially Ms. Brenda Wilson. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the First Baptist Church Mt. Olive and a funeral service will be Friday at 11:00am at the church. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers Mrs. Graves has requested for memorial donations be made to the United in Faith Building Fund, First Baptist Church Mt. Olive.
