It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Wayne Benton, age 62 of Fultondale Al. Steve was born April 27, 1962 and passed November 17, 2024. He was a member of providence Methodist church in Newcastle. Steve had a passion for dirt bikes and motocross. That passion lives on through his sons, who both share his love of motorcross and riding. He had a special love for all animals. Steve was a loving father, son and brother. He was a good man, sweet and kind and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his mother, Jerry Ann Haymes (stepfather Sonny Haymes) Father Clarence Wayne Benton. Sons Kyle Steven Benton, (Rachael Benton) Mark Alan Benton. Grandchildren Daxton, Wraylei, Audrey and Noah. Sister Cathy Dement (Cosette Brown) and a host of family and friends. A memorial will be held at a later date.
